Khazar University is a private educational institution for undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies, promoting advanced study and research, educational policy, and development in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Khazar University is the first university in Azerbaijan composed of multiple independent schools united by the same academic policy and principles, which offer a wide scope of diverse majors in Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Architecture; Engineering and Applied Sciences; Economics; Management and Business Administration; and Education.

Khazar is also one of the leading universities in Azerbaijan in terms of its relations with industry and has established effective relations with the leading local and international companies.

On June 1, 2023, "Times Higher Education" (THE), one of the world's most influential rating organizations, announced the "University Impact Rankings 2023", identifying the best world universities for 2023, against the UN's "Sustainable Development Goals", distinguished by their social and economic contributions. Khazar University is the highest-performing university in all spheres from Azerbaijan, being ranked in the 601-800 tier (among 1591 universities from 112 countries). Specifically, Khazar University is ranked 93rd in 1 field, in the tier of 201-300 in 2 fields, 301-400 in 5 fields, 401-600 in other 5 fields, and 601-800 in two fields. This accomplishment solidifies Khazar University's standing as a beacon of excellence and impact in the academic realm.

Mrs. Razia Isayeva

Assistant Professor of Management at Khazar University since 2003. She has received her Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and has an extensive experience in writing, gaining and managing international projects, mainly projects supported by the European Commission.

Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov

Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Khazar University. Dr. Mammadov’s research interests span a wide spectrum, from Economic Growth and Innovation to Sustainable Development and Foreign Direct Investment.

Mrs. Salima Ahmadova

Project manager at the Development Office of the University.

Prof. Dr. Fakhranda Afandiyeva

Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at Khazar University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Physics from ANAS, Ministry of Science and Education, Azerbaijan.

Mr. Ingilab Ahmadov

Dean of the Graduate School of Economics and Business and the Director of Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub. His research interests include oil & gas economy, the economic impact of oil revenues, Caspian energy resources and oil contracts. Prof. Ahmadov has written more than 30 research papers and books.
