ADA University (ADA, Azerbaijan)

ADA University is a public higher education institution founded in 2006. Legal heir of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy offering an Advanced Foreign Service Program to diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and civil servants in the government, the University has since that has grown into a full fledged higher education institution. ADA University is engaged in research and delivery of undergraduate and graduate degree programs within its six Schools: School of Public and International Affairs, School of Business, School of Education, School of IT and Engineering, School of Law, School of Agricultural and Food Sciences, School of Architecture and Design. ADA is a vibrant community of 3653 students with students from 49 countries around the world, as diversity illustrates one of core values of the University. Baku and ADA University are both a living laboratory at the crossroads of the ancient Silk Road, where East meets West. Conveniently located in central Baku, ADA University was conceptualized as “From Exchange of Goods to Exchange of Ideas”. Ms. Nargiz Ismayilova

Head of Executive Education at ADA University Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD). Her major roles include collaborating with professionals in the public and private sectors responsible for human resources and capacity building to identify their educational needs and ensure information confidentiality, planning, and the monitoring of all IDD executive education programs. Her area of expertise includes EU-funded project management; implementing public administration and civil service reforms as well as institutional capacity building in Azerbaijan; participation in EU CIB and IRP implementation;

Ms. Inara Yagubova

Senior Research Fellow at ADA University Institute for Development and Diplomacy (hashtag#IDD). Her major roles include independently undertaking advanced research in the relevant discipline area, as well as writing or contributing to publications and disseminating research findings using media appropriate to the discipline. Her main areas of expertise are policy analysis, Middle East studies, project management, as well as soft skills training and teaching security studies.

Ms. Nargiz Azizova

Senior Research Fellow IDD. Her major roles include undertaking advanced research in relevant discipline areas as well as writing or contributing to publications and disseminating research findings using media appropriate to the discipline.

Ms. Hajar Huseynova

Senior Research Fellow at IDD. Her functions include leading the production of high-quality research reports and publications, as well as teaching and conducting trainings in the field of green energy, environmental policy and management, sustainable development and water resources management. Hajar has worked with various international institutions such as UNDP, GEF, GIZ, Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, NUPI in the capacity of researcher and project manager. She is the author of monthly analytical papers and reports on water, energy, renewable energy and environmental policy gaps in the country.
