The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) was established through the reorganization and merger of Dnipro National University of Railway Transport and the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.
Today USUST is the largest technical university in the Central region and one of the largest in Ukraine. The university accommodates over 16,000 students enrolled in 187 Bachelor's Degree programs and 153 Master's Degree programs. It employs 1,080 teachers, organized into 4 educational and scientific institutes, 27 faculties, 42 research institutes, 15 test centers, and 33 research laboratories.
The University has a highly qualified academic and teaching staff, and the necessary infrastructure to create innovative teaching methods and information-communication technologies in education.
USUST has potential in the area of research – the university is proud of patent applications and significant publishing achievements.
The university is actively engaged in didactic and scientific research projects financed by EU funds, including 18 Erasmus+ KA2 projects, 5 HORIZON EUROPE projects, 9 DAAD projects,17 Erasmus+ Jean Monnet projects, 54 Erasmus+ KA1 projects, and 23 projects from other programs.
