We are proud to introduce the Energy Efficiency Center (EEC), a distinguished contributor to the field of energy efficiency and a partner of The 3E Partnership Project Consortium! EEC's Expertise enriches the consortium with the latest, context-specific knowledge and global insights. Since its establishment in 1998 by the European Union under the EU Tacis Project, the EEC has been dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly and economically viable energy production in Georgia.

Meet the Team:

Mr. George Abulashvili - EECG Director, former advisor of the Energy Charter member countries in energy sector investments and implementation of protocol on energy efficiency and related environmental aspects such as climate change mitigation (PEEREA), an expert consultant to the Georgian parliament on energy issues. Since 1996, initiator and manager of local and international projects and programs. Mr. George Abulashvili has vast regional experience working on promotion of CoM activities and support to Signatories within responsible geographical area, coordinating works with Donors/IFI’s as CoM East Country Expert for Georgia and Azerbaijan. His work experience covers energy efficiency consultancy for the European investment bank and consultancies on Market analysis of renewable energy and energy efficiency for industrial and building sector, identification of focus investment areas in EPC cities and RE and EE projects.

Ms. Elene Gvilava has been engaged in the non-governmental sector for the implementation of various environmental projects since 2005. She has obtained her MA degree in Environment Protection and Rational Utilization of Natural Resources from Georgian Technical University: The Faculty of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
